Fly-walk with me into the night

Fly walk with me into the Night

Fly walk with me
Into the Night
of Velvet skin
And Jeweled eyes
Let us be Love's Riders
to pry open its timeless Vaults
and drink from its brimming
cup of secrets

Dare me and we will go
Into the realms of eternity
In search of the Tree
 of All Times
with nectar hanging like pears ripe
and waiting to be plucked,
tasted, in breath shared.

And if we don't get lost
In shimmering airland
We shall return
and bring with us
the Knowing
which changes both
All and None.

Dare we seize Future's velvet Love-challenge
tossed high into the air,
revolving slowly
as do the stars above,
and see with our heart-eyes?

The DAYS of the WEEK ~ NAMES and RELATION with PLANETS - Los DIAS de la SEMANA y sus NOMBRES

Mandala diagram representing the days of the week and rulers
EACH DAY OF THE WEEK HAS ITS OWN ASTROLOGICAL RULER

This diagram represents the seven days of the week with its corresponding astrological ruler or regent.

Starting at the top, follow the symbols in clockwise motion and you will find the symbol for the Moon (at the top), Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn - with the Sun in the center. Each day of the week has its ruler or regent by, as follows:

1 - MOON ~ MONDAY (BLUE)
2 - MARS ~ TUESDAY (RED)
3 - MERCURY ~ WEDNESDAY (GREEN)
4 - JUPITER ~ THURSDAY (PURPLE)
5 - VENUS ~ FRIDAY (LIGHT BLUE)
6 - SATURN ~ SATURDAY (LIGHT GREEN
7 - SUN ~ SUNDAY (GOLD in the CENTER)

In many languages you will find a correspondence between the names of the days of the week and the names of the planets, Sun and Moon that dates to this astrological correspondence. (See Spanish translation below.)

Then to go a bit further, if you take the Lunar Month and divide it by 4 - representing the Four Elements: Earth, Water, Air and Fire - you get cycles of 7 days.

The 5 planets that are visible to the naked eye at nighttime: Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn; plus Sun and Moon rule the days of the week and also rule the hours of day and night - they are called the lords of the hours.

The first hour at the break of day on Sunday is ruled by the Sun.
The second hour is assigned to/ruled by Venus
The third to Mercury
The fourth to the Moon
The fifth to Saturn
The sixth to Jupiter
The seventh to Mars
The eighth to the Sun
The cycle repeats.

Day is measured from sunrise to sunset, and is divided into 12 hours.
Night is from sunset to sunrise and is divided into 12 hours.
Therefore hours are of unequal length - except at the time of the Equinoxes when day and night are of equal length - equally balanced.
